Who I Am & Why I Built The Shift

I’m Alice — an ADHD/Dyslexic Occupational Therapist with 20 years of experience supporting neurodivergent adults, psychosocial disability, complex trauma, and functional recovery. But long before I created The Shift, I was the burnt-out OT silently struggling behind the scenes — masking, over-functioning, and holding everyone else together while disconnecting from myself.

I built this program because I know the lived reality of burnout, shame spirals, emotional dysregulation, sensory overwhelm, and the constant pressure to be “the strong one.” My turning point came when I stopped fighting my neurodivergence and began working with it. Through nervous system regulation, deep reflection, and radical acceptance, I rebuilt my life, my practice, and my identity from the inside out.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time do I need weekly?

30 mins for the recordings and 1 hour for the weeks where we have a 1:1 - ideally every month.

Is this clinical supervision?

Clinical supervision focuses on clinical reasoning, documentation, professional standards, and practice compliance. What we do inside The Shift is different. This is mentoring centered on your regulation, identity, boundaries, burnout patterns, emotional load, and the internal experience of being a neurodivergent OT.

It’s support for you as a person, not oversight of your clinical work.

What if I’m not formally diagnosed?

No problem, this is to help you master your life and your profession, medical advise or treatment is not a part of it. 

Can I do this while working full time?

Yes its been designed into bit size components and you have 3 months to complete it.

How long do I have access to the modules?

You receive lifetime access. That means the modules, worksheets, and tools are yours to revisit anytime during the program, after it ends, and even years down the track.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes - happy for payment to get split in two 1-month apart.
